Very common news.
But for we Shrotrias.....involved in Dowry case....shocking...disgraceful...unbelievable....
Talak...there were few cases....inter caste marriage...is spreading alarmingly....but dowry case...not heard before,perhaps the first ...
Is it acceptable in our Shrotriya culture? Aren't we proud to be called a community with no dowry system. Our culture is deep rooted. Society as a whole have transformed in entirely two different socio-economy environment.One, migrated shrotrias, who have virtually left their origins due to their necessity & compulsions,and others residing at their native places. But , shrotrias as a whole,still preserve & protect there tradition and feel proud of there cultureal heritage.
This is just not talked about.
I have felt this fragrance ammongst the shrotriya individuals on any celebration day in soitpura. Metropolitan/Urban upbringings....mixed cultural flavour.....a glaze of modernisation....aggressive approach.....high dreams....but at the same time.....when they reach their villages....attitude changes...
humble....submissive....touches the feet of elders....tries to connect the thread of relationship....eager to search themselves in & around the origins of their fore fathers.The both brands are widely acceptable to each others.
Its time for self interospect.
Well knitted & well versed system....open....transperrant....HATHDHARI....SIDHANT....KANYADAN...
every where...surrounded by relatives....friends&wellwishers....entire society.....THEN?....WHATS WRONG?.....
WAKE UP....community......otherwise be prepared for the collapse.
